This spectacularly restored country house dates from the 1300s and is located peacefully in prominent position in the verdant regional mountains park east of Girona. The views are to both mountains and the Mediterranean coast are spectacular. The area's most popular beaches though are just a 15 minute trip away.
No expense was spared during the long renovation and the end result – highest standard workmanship decorations and furniture - is magnificent. Each room of the three story structure has its own special style and charm. You arrive on the ground floor via a vast entrance hall with decoratively painted vaulted ceilings. Further on there is a large living room with a fireplace, reading area and a television room. The dining room seats 20 and the stylish well equipped kitchen has a six person breakfast table and gives onto an outdoors dining area which has a BBQ and an extra outdoor kitchen. The main house has 8 bedrooms, each with private bathroom and there are two additional suites in nearby guest house. The main house also has such luxuries as a spa with an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room. The spa area conveniently has double washrooms and shower rooms. One ground floor bedroom can be wheelchair accessed. This room also has separate access and so is a ideal for private staff. On the second floor there are six bedrooms that give onto a central hallway. On this level there is also a sun terrace measuring The first floor also has a 1500 sq ft sun terraces with outdoor furniture. The top floor has an additional bedroom and a billiards and television room. |
